Tissues And Issues - Charlotte Church ... Church first came to the public s attention in the mid-nineties when she appeared on Johnathan Ross show giving a blinding rendition of Pieu Jesu . What s so good about that you may ask? She was only 12 years old at the time... Lending her talents to opera throughout her teenage years, she began to become more rebellious and famous as she grew and eventually decided to take her music in a completly new direction and record a pop album. What followed was a perfect pop record with a handful of tracks that have her name all over them. It s about a young woman taking control of her own identity and becoming confident and comfortable in who she is. Whilst I had n... In Between Dreams - Jack Johnson ... Johnson is a former surf champion but decided to hang up his board and try his hand at guitar instead a few years ago. It seems that no matter how many albums this guy releases it is this one that people like the best and remember. It is indeed this album which helped him break the UK market and gave him a fan base here. However, i was round a friends last week on a beautiful hot summers day when this came on his speakers. Safe to say it hasnt been off mine since! The overall sound of the album is chilled out and relaxed, perfect for sum... Read the full review: A dreamy album by nicki--martin |

There is one other lady who could do a cover of this song really well, although to my knowledge she has never tried; Tina Turner. The only downside to this song I feel which is important is the fact that it is quite short. 11) Tapestry Folk and dreamy lyrics float along a song with tremolo organ and a bright tinkling piano as the story unfolds. It is not a great song in terms of plenty of instrumentals but one which is probably most loved for its simplicity despite key changes towards the end. It is however a good track which sits in a circle of great songs and typicall... Read the full review: King of Simplicity Weaves Ageless Tapestry by Nar2 |
