Twilight - Soundtrack ... New Moon soundtrack seems to evolve from the deep, dark melancholy that Bella dwells in until the last several songs of the album, upon which time the tracks become more upbeat and "fun." This is a wonderful effect! It s like a journey, which is entirely what the book is. This soundtrack has some incredible songs on it! I had heard the new tracks by The Killers and Thom Yorke, and I loved both of those, so I bought the soundtrack on that basis alone. I was pleasantly surprised by how good all the other songs were as well. Each song carries a certain essence and captures a particular feeling. The Lion In Winter - John Barry - Soundtrack ... to find good scores (or at least interesting ones) from films that rely a lot on dialogue is not too easy as mostly the music needs to stay away from obscuring the actors. This often leads to simple atmospheric renderings of fairly insubstantial music that basically just adds to the film through the most simplistic ways possible, while remaining anonymous and mostly without substance. However, John Barry s score for the 1968 film adaptation of James Goldman s stageplay The Lion in Winter accomplishes this in being a surprisingly big score without overwhelming the often witty dialogue (which is mostly accomplished in not having any music for the large talking scenes... Lost Season 3 - Michael Giacchino - Soundtrack ... 3 contains some of the most brilliantly crafted and acted episodes of the series so far. The first six episodes pick up where Season 2 left off and tells the story of what happened to Kate, Sawyer and Jack while being held by The Others. They are all solid episodes but when Lost returned from it s hiatus in February, this show started to heat up like nothing you have ever seen. To me, the more mystery the show deliver, the merrier, it will make this show more unique with a lot of question raises and more and more debates on those questions.
