Escape - Enrique Iglesias ... is the title of spanish pop star ENRIQUE IGLESIAS album. The album features 13 tracks which I will review. The opening song ESCAPE is a powerful song sung with real emotion and a good tune that you can dance to. DON T TURN OFF THE LIGHTS is a song that starts of slow and builds towards a fast paced chorus with superb melodies. LOVE TO SEE YOU CRY has a memorable chorus sung beautifully although the lyrics can be a little corny. It is very mellow though and does relax yuo while you listen. The best song on the album is the legendary HERO. The lyrics tell a great story of wanting to be a hero to the one s you love. The chorus is unforgeetable and the passion in ... The Ukrainians - The Ukrainians ... has some awesome bands whether it be the reggae punk folk act Haydamaky or acoustic guitar acts such as Kontrabas. When you throw funky rock bands like VV into the mix then you would imagine it wouldn t be hard to come up with a decent folk rock band. Whilst there s nothing technically bad about the band "The Ukrainians" it just doesn t seem to have that much bite. The band is made up of English born Ukrainian descendents and songs on this album are in Ukrainian. The folk is too depressive and the punk not energetic enough, leaving the sound of the band a little lacklustre. The arrangement of the melodies seems very contrived. Nothing jumps out and am... Ridiculous Bohemia - Tiny Tin Lady ... Tiny Lady is a young all-female four piece from Merseyside and Ridiculous Bohemia is their second album. I bought this album after seeing the band live, still unable to pick my jaw up from off the floor after an astonishing performance at the 100 Club. Despite their youth, the band has come up with an album that is incredibly mature and original. The band comprises singer-songwriter Danni Gibbins and Beth Reed-Gibbins who both possess amazing pure voices which harmonise effortlessly, Kat Gilmore on violin and viola, with the highest-quality bass provided by Helen Holmes.
