Gipsy Kings - Greatest Hits - Gipsy Kings ... of you may know Gipsy King for the spanish version of Hotel California . However, they are largely well known for many of the songs that feature on their greatest hits. Gipsy King like Bob Marley, for me are in a league of their own and once people hear their song Bombeleo , they will realise that they have heard it before. Although I only speak a few words of spanish, I don t beleive it is needed to appreciate the guitar mastery and the warm, acoustic tones and variety this album offers. I remember initially listening to Gipsy King in the 90 s when I worked at a restaurant that provided food and music from around the world. I now have the CD and it often kee... Greatest Hits - Enrique Iglesias ... me one of the best albums to have been released in the genre of world music, every song has a meaning and every song is brilliant. His previous albums have all been good but with his greatest hits into 1 album it is just sensational. My favourite song on the album is probably Hero, a song which is known worldwide and is fantastic, the lyrics are sensational and everyone knows them which is awesome! Another great track on the album is Escape, another song whihc is known worldwide and is sung by many people because it is so good. Vampire Weekend - Vampire Weekend ... Weekend. An American band formed in 2006 to label XL recordings. The name of the band comes from a film by Ezra Koenig (also the lead vocalist, guitarist and pianist) The album is exiting. Personally, when i listened to it for the first time, i was excited. If it was the fact that i had oxford comma stuck in my head for about a month before listening to the album or other reasons unknown, i was expecting great things. The album has a definate character and style. The little flickering lead guitar, edging its way into songs and the stuttery piano, coming in and out.
