by tbailess - written on 17/11/00, updated on 17/11/00 (Useful, 21 readings)
Blimey! A ten year retrospective of Therapy?. Has it really been that long? I remember as if were last week going to my first ever gig, T Therapy at the Shepherd's Bush Empire when I was an excited teen itching to get in some crowd surfing and moshing. We had illicit Stellas in our bellies and riffs in our head. We were ready to ROCK. It was the punk rashness that Therapy had, complimented with angst-infested lyrics and singable epic choruses that got all of those sweaty youths thrashing around. It was accessible, but not too mindless. It is clear from this retrospective, released this week, that they never lost this, even though the albums changed distinctively as ...

'Troublegum', a savage attack on anger and the church, was released in February of 1994 and contained tracks such as 'Nowhere' and 'Trigger Inside' which would both become chart hits in the UK. Due to the success of this album the record ...

Until There's Nothing Left of Us - Kill Hannah - Mat's voice is so distinct. The songs are catchy and upbeat. Rather simple lyrics. Songs don't vary too much.

Atticus - Dragging The Lake Vol.3 - Some strong tracks on display here from a variety of excellent bands. A couple of the tracks here are deeply disappointing.
Postcards From Hell - Get Amped - An excellent display of melodic pop punk. Those that don't like pop punk will probably absolutely hate this.
