Anyone younger than me almost certainly has never heard...more

Christmas is a time for nostalgia a time to look back with rose tinted glasses to the things of my youth, glistening trees, snow covered roof tops and a full head of hair. Ah those were the days. Granted the only time Manchester ever looked clean in my recollection was just after it snowed but that would be letting the rose tinted glasses slip a little. Another strong memory from my youth was when I was lucky enough to bag a Saturday job at Virgin records of all places. I was in heaven, more music than you could imagine, the chance to play any record I fancied from library of 1000’s. Another highlight was the ...  Read the complete review

Still the same excellent voice, lyrics, thoughts and tunes. More listenable than her other albums, nice enhanced content. Some may argue this is targeted at a more saturated market. The UK probably isn't really the market for this, the odd weak track and no obvious outstanding track.Others may prefer the older albums.

Alanis back doing what she does best, writing infectious but powerful songs, Demonstrates a more mature approach both musically and lyrically, 'At That Particular Time', 'Precious Illusions' 'You Owe me Nothing' edges a bit too close to filler for comfortIt's still recognisably Alanis, so if you hated 'Jagged Little Pill' you'd best steer clear

Lots of great tracks, Good value for money Won't appeal to everyoneGenres covered are a bit limited

some great punk songs not all amazing

can listen to all the way through only 11 tracks

fantastic songs sadly 911 are no longer a group

Under Satanae - Moonspell
It's excellent to hear the band rerecord old material. The album brings nothing new to the genre of dark metal.

Ungentle Exhumation - Cryptopsy
Affordable way to own a previously rare and historically significant item. Still sounds similar to much tech-death, and brief at only four tracks.

Touch Wood - Antonio Forcione
Excellent virtuoso musician. Not everyones cup of tea.

The Wedding Dance Of The Widow Bride - Geoff Berner
Funny, witty, clever; it's klezmer music Unnecessary Leonard Cohen cover

Tip Of The Iceberg / Takin... - New Found Glory
Two discs included here of utmost excellence. Despite the fact 18 tracks are included here there's just a mere 27 minutes of music.

Tokyo Warhearts - Children Of Bodom
Tight and well-selected early performance. Only draws from two studio albums, and solo performances are disappointing.

Transcendence - Crimson Glory
Improves on the first album... ...but is stylistically identical.

Tuatha Na Gael - Cruachan
Successful meeting of folk and black metal touches. Over-use of flutes, and few original ideas.

Unappreciated - Cherish
R&B & Soul - Soul - 2006

Units In The City - Shawty Lo
A couple of good tracks Terrible rhymes
