With album number two due for release in March 2008, I thought that it was about time I got round to reviewing the bands début album. Panic at the Disco (they've dropped the exclamation mark now don't you know) formed in 2005, and this début album was released in the September of that same year. The album has gone on to sell over 1.6 million copies worldwide, making Panic at the Disco a massively popular and hugely sought over band. Since releasing this album they have parted ways with former bassist Brent Wilson and he has been replaced with Jon Walker who was formerly the bass technician for The Academy Is... It has been stated by the bands front man Brendon Urie that ... Read the complete review

Panic! At The Disco are a band who come from Las Vegas. Like me you probably think Vegas does anyone actually live there? I thought they just went there, well they grew up there all members apart from one. The members are Ryan Ross (lyricist/guitarist), Brendon Urie (vocalist/guitarist), Spencer Smith (drums), Brent Wilson (bass). They are aged 18-19 but don’t let age fool as you as they are as talented as some of their peers, still with some things to learn but they can only get better. Being one of my favourite bands at the moment I will try to keep this as far from being biased as possible. The band formed from a young age as Ryan Ross always wanted a ... Read the complete review

The Band The beginning of Panic! At The Disco is certainly an underdog story that should inspire many upcoming bands to keep on going. They were signed up to their first record label without even performing a single show. Spotted by Fall Out Boy poster boy Pete Wentz on MySpace he recommended them to his record label. They took him up on the offer and thus, we have Panic! At The Disco. The rose quickly from small time underground success to world wide superstars. Becoming popular with fans of the emo genre, their original sounding tracks got many people interested. The band is made up of Brandon Urie who is lead singer along with an extensive list ... I have to say I do have a slight thing for this pop punk band, the members being Brendon Urie, Ryan Ross, Brent Wilson and Spencer Smith, I love them, I think their amazing, I know all of the tracks from A fever you can't sweat out off by heart and to be honest I could fill this review with the words 'omg their amazing!!' but sadly i think the dooyoo team would have issues with it... A fever you can't sweat out was the debut album for the pop/ indie band, Panic! at the disco with half of the album feauturing electronic instruments and half the album featuring more traditional instruments with an intermisiion to link the two halves seamlessly. The lyrics in ... Read the complete review

I love this album, I got into PATD when I heard one song made by them, Lying is the Most Fun a girl can have without taking her clothes off...yes a very long title!! The album has a mix of song types and if you like Fall out Boy, you'll love these!! Panic at the Disco are classed as "Indie Rock and Punk" but I class them as "alternative" cause there really is a mix of everything laced with rock. I recommend the album to anyone who has heard of panic at the disco and think they're interesting!! There are a couple of downsides to the album, there are alot of "intermissions" which take the place of 3-4 minute long songs, but ... Read the complete review
