Advantages: Some great tracks, fun to listen to, moving and emotional

Disadvantages: A few dud tracks

Ive been a big fan of Rihannas since she started her career. A Girl Like Me was released in 2006 and since i bought it, ive almost wore it out playing it so much. When i bought it, it cost around £12 but you can by it from Amazon for £2.98.

~1~ SOS

The first track from A Girl Like Me is a really upbeat uptempo catchy number. It always makes me want to get up a dance and its really funky. I love it!

~2~ Kisses Dont Lie

Another brilliant song from Rihanna. I love playing this in the car and turning it up really loud and singing along. A cracking tune.

~3~ Unfaithful

This is probably one of Rihannas biggest hits to date. I think this is the hit that made her so popular and has great touching lyrics. A firm favourite of mine.

~4~ We Ride

I love the video for this song where Rihanna is cruising along in a sports car in the sunshine. It always makes me feel happy listening to this song and makes me smile when i hear it.

~5~ Dem Haters

Not one of my favourite songs on the album. I dont know why but this song irritates me a bit. I would be more likely to skip past this if i was listening to the whole album.

~6~ Final Goodbye

This song is so sad it makes me cry nearly every time i hear it. Its a really beautiful song and i always listen to it when im feeling sad (i dont know why as it makes me feel sadder!)

~7~ Break it Off

Another song thats not one of my favourites on the album. I think most albums have a few dud songs and this is one of Rihannas.

~8~ Crazy Little Thing Called Love

A great catchy little number similar to some of the other songs on the album that i really like. Shows how talented Rihanna is.

~9~ Selfish Girl

Also a very good song that i cant stop singing along to anytime i hear it. Another good one to stick on in the car on a long journey.

~10~ P.S (Im still not over you)

This song really tugs at my heartstrings and is very heartfelt and emotional. It reminds us all how painful a break up with a partner can be.

~11~ A Girl Like Me

The title song of the album and another great tune. Talking about all Rihannas songs is making we want to stick this album on.

~12~ A million miles away

Another tearjerker from Rihanna that gets me all glassy eyed and makes me feel sad. A lovely song.

~13~ If its lovin that you want

A really groovy tune that you will find yourself dancing to before you know it. Really catchy, i love this song!

~14~ Pon de replay

One of Rihannas first songs and in my opinion a brilliant one at that.

I would definitely recommend buying this album to add to your collection as it is brilliant.
