Rating:
Karen sang and the partnership was a match made in heaven. They had numerous hit records over the years before Karen died and left a huge legacy of classic songs. The Carpenters Love album compiled and distributed in 1998 is self-explanatory, it is a collection of the Carpenters finest love songs. 1. I Need To Be In Love 2. Solitaire 3. We've Only Just Begun 4. Masquerade 5. You're The One 6. Superstar 7. Rainy Days And Mondays 8. Top Of The World 9. Make Believe 10. I Just Fall In Love Again 11. (They Long To Be) Close To You 12. For All We Know 13. Where Do I Go From Here 14. Only Yesterday 15. All You Get From ...

It has the sound of something which is trying to be classical sounding, harpsichord or ...

Some excellent rock ballads are present on this album. Powerful vocals throughout.
