Advantages: Best album Shed Seven have done. No weak tracks at all. Probably find it cheaply now.

This is an album that I loved right from the start. The music and singing is not to everyones tastes but if you like one of the tracks, you will likely love most of the album.

First of all, the track listing contains some very good songs and most of Shed Sevens weak songs, appear on other albums and not this one.

The singing style is laid back, almost lax and uncaring, yet he still manages to fill the songs with emotions. The writing of the songs is brilliant and the songs never get boring. Full of variation within each song and through the album, here are some highlights:

Going for Gold: One of the singles off the album and a classic in it's own right. Quite possibly the best (and probably the most played) of Shed Sevens songs.

On Standby: How this was not a single, I don't know. Starting slowly and building up this has amazing, but simple guitar work that has the hairs on you neck standing up.

Parallel Lines: A strange end to the album, almost totally different and monotone in delivery for the few few minutes and then it all breaks loose and all makes sense in an angst sung and fairly heavy sound.

Shed Seven certainly have a unique sound and are different from everyone else and I believe this is the best of them. It doesn't contain the poor 'Disco Down' song either!

Summary: Nice album, definately worth a fiver. Find a bargain bin and grab it!
