The second album from indie boys Coldplay, this is the second album from them and the album that truly shot them to fame. There are 11 songs on this album. I prefer X & Y over this album but this album is great in its own right and features some of their greatest songs such as in my place, clocks and the scientist.

My favourite songs off this album are:

(2) In my place, such a great song and probably one of their most famous. I love the main riff. It's such a great song overall.

(3) God put a smile upon your face, one of my other favourite songs off this album. It is a great song overall and all the instruments come together to produce a great sounding piece of music

(4) Clocks, this is a song apart, the piano part is genius due to its simplicity and also because once you hear it you can't get it out of your head.

(5) The Scientist, another great song and the video is a must see. It is quite a long song but one of the best in the album.

Summary: A mixed bag but essential anyway!
