I bought this album a while ago now but it is still one that I regularly listen to.

I love this album. Why do I love it? I love it because it is both beautiful and emotional. My favourite track (by a mile) on this album has GOT to be "The Scientist". Why? Well, this song is simply stunning. It's a slow tempo song with a beautiful guitar riff and gorgeous vocals by Chris Martin. I don't know why but this song often makes me cry. I don't necessarily have to be depressed to listen to it but it just makes me feel emotional. Yet I play it over and over, so it can't be that depressing!

Apart from this epic track the rest of the album is pretty samey. I know some people class the band as "boring" but I actually like this type of music. I enjoy listening to Coldplay. This is a great album to chill out to as it's slow tempo throughout, apart from a few songs where there's more of a drum beat and/ or a guitar riff. The singles will stand out to you initially as you know them but the rest of the songs will grow on you.

There's no fillers on the album. There's a few singles but like I said before, "The Scientist" is the one that stands out to me the most. It's an album that people can relate to and one that will be cherished for years to come.
