Abbey Road surely represents the best of the Beatles. With the group on the point of splitting up they managed to get their act together for one last time and produce their best album ever and bow out in style. Not only do Lennon and McCartney sing songs including "Come Together", "Maxwell's Silver Hammer", and "Because", but George Harrison produced the unforgettable "Here Comes the Sun". Not to be out done Ringo composed and sang his "Octopus's garden".
So there it is. I think the best of all the Beatles albums - even the cover became a classic with its view of the Beatles walking across the road outside the studios. Even today many people pose on the pedestrian crossing to have their photo taken.
