King Diamond's horror story concept albums had already seen the light of sequels in the form of 'Conspiracy' (the superior follow-up to the previous year's "Them"), but 'Abigail II' is more contentious in its claim to be a worthy follow-up to an album released fifteen years earlier, widely regarded as the band's crowning achievement.
