From the jagged break beat of opening track Expander through the lush deep house of While Others Cry to the chill out ambience of Papua New Guinea, the Blade Runner sampling It's Not My Problem and the hard acid techno of Moscow, all the bases are covered. Papua New Guinea is probably worth a review of it's own being an all time classic tune most people will recognise but likely not know the name of. Each individual track stands on it's own merits and would fit into just about...more

Rating:

This album is an absolute classic, originally released in 1991 it was years ahead of it's time in terms of British house music which with the exception of The Orb was struggling to keep pace with the progress being made by Chicago and Detroit. As polished and accomplished as any US techno/house album of the same era Accelerator is a roller coaster ride of a journey. Great tunes, good mixing, nice sequencing. Shame the "Clubber's Guide"s have gone down in quality.

Awesome lyrics yet again, Good quality tracks Not as dancy as I'd have liked

Some of the best commerical dance tunes released over the past 3 years 2nd Cd of remixs is pointless

True chill out music, Sends me off to a better place, albeit temporarily, Wonderful to curl up in bed with Too many chill out mixes on the shelves at present, this doesn't get the praise it shouldCan be seen as depressing

Dance & Electronic - Lounge - 1993

34 unmissable house tracks that you just cannot live without. All big club hits. A good length of CD. There are only 34 tracks. I cannot really think of anything bad about it other than that. The music is all great. There sin't ONE song that lets it down. the case is a little awkward sometimes, but not impossible. Long live Pete Tong!.. or not?
