My daughter brought me this album as a birthday present as I like to try out new music but often can't afford to go out and splash out as I live on quite a tight budget at the moment. I first got in to Kate Bush when I was just a late teenager myself and when my children were first born. The album has 2 cds and has a very relaxing vibe to it. The first cd has 7 songs on which are all different and very unique. This cd has lots of electro rhythms and funky sounds to it. The favourite song is Mrs. Bartolozzi which has a nice piano and just Kate singing along gently. I try to understand what the words are singing about ... Read the complete review

It all happened when I was painting my sister's kitchen. In search of some music to accompany my charitable labours I was leafing through her CD rack for a suitable spin. There wasn't much to choose from (our musical tastes have always been at odds) but I did notice some Bowie and was about to load him up when I saw it: a pleasantly packaged CD just sitting there, all shiny and new, recently purchased, no doubt. My heart stopped for a moment as the name leapt out at me: Kate Bush. I always loved Kate Bush and thought The Dreaming was one of the greatest albums of all time.
All albums after I thought went down hill, less experimental and more mainstream lounge pop.
So I waited with baited breath thinking 12 years could change a career drastically , only to be confronted by this album!!
Apart from King of The Mountain (Typical KB) I have to say I went to sleep listening to this.
Please Kate go back and finish the project with Prince - Now that was really breath taking!!!

Kate Bush made her fans wait twelve years for this one, while she was happily ensconced in her homelife bringing up a son. The material reflects this and the artwork on Aerial paves the way for the music, with a row of washing on a clothes line in the inner sleeve gradually metamorphosing into seagulls. There are two discs with seven and nine songs respectively and Aerial has been critically lauded and nominated for Best British album at this years Brit Awards, while Kate has been nominated for best female solo artist. ~A Sea of Honey~ begins with the single King of the Mountain which has a slow, rythmic beat and is about the myths that surround Elvis. It's ... Read the complete review
