There wasn't much to choose from (our musical tastes have always been at odds) but I did notice some Bowie and was about to load him up when I saw it: a pleasantly packaged CD just sitting there, all shiny and new, recently purchased, no doubt. My heart stopped for a moment as the name leapt out at me: Kate Bush. I always loved Kate Bush and thought The Dreaming was one of the greatest albums of all time.
All albums after I thought went down hill, less experimental and more mainstream lounge pop.
So I waited with baited breath thinking 12 years could change a career drastically , only to be confronted by this album!!
Apart from King of The Mountain (Typical KB) I have to say I went to sleep listening to this.
Please Kate go back and finish the project with Prince - Now that was really breath taking!!!

It's ...

Close Encounters Of The Third Kind - John Williams - Soundtrack
A seminal score for a film whose very resolution is hinged on music
Not as enjoyable as Williams' other major scores for more romantically tinged films
City Of Angels - Soundtrack
A mix of haunting songs on a great soundtrack, good classical music too.
Not many: availability and change of pricing.

Well, they're called Fuckpony...
a few weak tracks drag down the others
Ceremony - Cult
a good blend of the early goth and later rock sounds
there have been better albums
Capture / Release - Rakes
A decent uptempo band, good lyrics and pretty catchy music
Won't appeal to anyone who isn't keen on the current Indie Rock scene

Some pleasing and different death metal, great guitars
Occasionally rips off its influences
