"Ahh... The Name Is Bootsy, Baby!" came as the second album from Bootsy's Rubber Band. Headed by Bootsy Collins (who played Bass in James Brown's JBs before turning to Parliament-Funkadelic), it has him and his band, who consist of: Catfish Collins, Maceo Parker, Fred Wesley, Gary Shider, and many others, with George Clinton, bringing more of the Funk in 1977 during the time when Clinton was gaining more ideas for his P-Funk mythology. 1. "Ahh... The Name Is Bootsy, Baby!" He gets the album off to a great start as we get a lively piece that has Bootsy apparently playing out live and getting his music out there. As he does ...
