Rating:
'Album of the Year' is Faith No More's reasonably disappointing swan song, a half-hearted and seemingly incomplete work that at least has the advantage of being more commercially accessible, though ironically it fared significantly less well in the music charts than the band's previous works. Many of these songs are instantly forgettable, and very few possess the distinctive Faith No More charisma. 'Mouth to Mouth' and 'Got That Feeling' contain the only traces of the funk rock sound that the band pioneered along with other bands such as the wildly overrated Red Hot Chili Peppers, and this album is best taken and appreciated as a more mellow offering from the ... Bass man Billy Gould started a record label and formed a Brazilian death metal band (As you do). Drummer Mike Bordin worked as a session drummer for artists ranging from Ozzy Osborn to ...
