Advantages: old style slipknot with a new twist

Disadvantages: not enough of the old style riffs

this album is the latest for slipknot and this album sees them taking on a new sound. every song has a different feel to it like they are trying to get a message accross to their fans aka maggots. the first single physcosocial shows what this album is going to be like corey the lead singer really pushes his vocals out there we have a mixture of old style slipknot the raw sound mixed in with more of a melody the contrast wouldnt usually work however for a 9 piece band they really pull this of. this album has some more slow songs till we die is really getting to the root of everything that has happened to them over the past 10 years as with dead memories a personal favorite of mine. fans really arent dissapionted in what is already turning out to be slipknot fasting selling album of their career. this album is a must for people who loved iowa and sublimminal verses as this mixes in both styles to create a whole new level for these guys

Summary: one of their best albums to date
