This was the first Slipknot album i ever bought and it had me hooked from the first, i am a new maggot! It lead me to buy Subliminal verses, another excellent feat of musical genius. I was tentative at first, i little unsure of this scary looking metal group but when you discover what they are all about you feel like an idiot for ever doubting them! Their first single off the album was psycosocial and that was the track that made my ears perk up. It made me realise how catchy metal can be. Sulphur was the second single and the video was voted for for many rock / metal awards including kerrang. I particularly like 'wherin lies continue', a fantastic track. I saw these guys at Download festival (they headlined) and put on an amazing performance. When 80,000 people sit down then jump up together for Corey Taylor you knwo you are experiencing metal history!

Summary: Genius, they have matured into something incredible
