Advantages: Some awesome songs
Disadvantages: A couple of weaker tracks
All I Ever Wanted is the fourth album from American Idol winner Kelly Clarkson - an achievement in itself since most reality show winners sink without trace after their first album. She's gone from strength to strength since releasing her first album and with this one seems to have finally found her style.
Track Listing
1. My Life Would Suck Without You - A really big hit and it's easy to see why, a great slice of pop.
2. I Do Not Hook Up - Another strong pop song.
3. Cry - The first ballad on the album. Really memorable and heartfelt.
4. Don't Let Me Stop You - A standout track and one of my favourite songs on the album. It's quite bitter and angry, but it's great!
5. All I Ever Wanted - The title track, it's pretty catchy.
6. Already Gone - Another ballad, a really good song.
7. If I Can't Have You - Quite catchy with an electronic beat. Not one of my favourites though.
8. Save You - Another slower song, not one of my favourites.
9. Whyyawannabringmedown - A standout track, a pop/rock song that never lets up!
10. Long Shot - One of my favourite songs on the album, one to rock out to.
11. Impossible - Another great song.
12. Ready - After the last three standout songs this one isn't that great.
13. I Want You - A light, bubbly, poppy song.
14. If No One Will Listen - A soothing ballad to end the album with.
All in all, this is a great album. It has the best of all Kelly's previous albums - lovely ballads, catchy pop tunes and stomping rock songs. I own her albums now and I can honestly say she is now one of my favourite artists.
Bring on the next album!
