Oh My God what an amazing album!!!!!!! This album is 13 tracks of wicked songs ranging from harder to softer rock. Some of the tracks do sound slightly similar but it is their individual sound and so is carried well throughout the album. There are of course the two well know tracks fat lip and in too deep and if you like these you will love tracks ...  Read the complete review

In the summer of 2001, a canadian quartet called dum 41 just seemed to explode onto the punk scene with their highly acclaimed single 'fat lip'. This single was closely followed by their second album 'all killer no filler' The albums starts well with a chilling intro to the band and then they go straight into action with ...  Read the complete review

From the anti-social order anthem "Fat Lip" to the appologetic "No Difference"; buyers will no doubtedly be impressed by the Canadian emo-punk quartet. The lyrics are catchy, the themes are given on a plate and the music is as infectious as the Bubonic Plague. This record will have you jumping around the house for days and ...  Read the complete review

After a brief listening to AKNF by Sum 41, a new pop-punk Canadian brat quintet, I can officially say I don't like it! Now, I am pretty open-minded with music. I like mainly prog rock (Muse, Radiohead, some of Daft Punk's 'Mastubatory Guitar Solos' as Q affectionately put it) as well as indie rock (Travis, Coldplay, Starsailor ...  Read the complete review

All Killer, No Filler - Sum 41: M (75 words)

The thing about this song is that it is all killer and no filler. That could be bad if you are decorating your bathroom or tiling your toilet, as you could need Filler to fill the gaps in the wall. It is also bad as no-one likes Killers anyway, because they kill and that is bad. So if you take apart each part of this song, you can see that its not ...  Read the complete review

Sum 41 are the "new punk pop sensation". After touring with the likes of Blink 182, and The Offspring they are starting to gain critical acclaim. Their first EP “Half Hour of Power” got them that far, so what’s all the fuss about with “All Killer, No Filler”. Is their first full-length album really as good ...  Read the complete review

This album is full of teen energy and if you are a fan of pop punk music or Blink 182 then you have to buy this album. Coming from Canada, Sum 41 are the latest punk rock outfit to hit the shelves. Their teen attitude and stupidness attracts fans and they have had a lot of promotion leading up to the album which I think they deserve. ------- ...  Read the complete review

From all the hype that I've heard surrounding this band, I expected them to be the most incredible and unique thing since, well...I don't know. However, after hearing just one song I quickly understood why the band is quickly on a successful rise - they sound like everything else in the current poppy punk music fad. I'm gonna ...  Read the complete review

Punk Pop looks set to take over the summer air-waves...AGAIN! And these new princes are ready to steal the GlorySpringDay182's crown. Premium Review All Killer, No Filler - Sum 41: The New Green Day Album is here (187 words)

I bought this album last week after reading a review in Kerrang, in which it received “KKKK,” a rating that I agree with totally. When I put this CD on my hi-fi, I couldn’t believe how many Green Day riffs it contained. All this album needs is Billie Joe’s notorious whining vocals for it to be the new Green Day album. ...  Read the complete review

I heard 'Rhythms' by Sum 41 on a CD sampler and instantly was attracted to their energy and melodic style of punk. So, because I think I'm addicted to all things musical, I went out and bought the album 'All Killer, No Filler'. From the outset you can tell these Canadian Punkers have a prominent sense of humour, much ...  Read the complete review

Well this is Sum 41’s second album All Filler No Killer. Their previous being Half Hour Of Power, and I must say first of all- that All Filler No Killer is better. Well the title says No Filler, but that isn’t all true as there is ‘Never waking up’ (50 seconds) and the final track is ‘Pain For Pleasure which ...  Read the complete review
