James Blunt is something of an oddity in my CD collection, I dont usually like male vocals soley on a song and nor do I have a particular interest in music which is piano based, not to mention generally anything in which the lyrics are audiable and have meaning I avoid for fear of it making me think! But despite this I thoroughly enjoyed his first album and when I first heard 1973 I knew that I'd be buying the second on its release. So on a quick trip in to my local Morrisons to buy milk I had a wander down their entertainment aisle and discovered that All the Lost Souls was their album of the week (usually the only one they have which you would ... James Blunt now has his second album out; All The Lost Souls. His debut album, Back To Bedlam, was something new and refreshing and certainly got people's heads turning on both sides of the Atlantic. James Blunt, with his song "You're Beautiful" was the first Brit to be number 1 in America since Elton John did Candle In The Wind in memory of princess Diana. So, that's a tough thing to beat; number one in both the UK and the US. Can he make another album that could be just as good as his first and more? Of course he can; and he has! All The Lost Souls is an excellent album. I had mixed feelings when i was about to press "Play" for the first ... Read the complete review

-JAMES BLUNT- All THE LOST SOULS- After a three year gap Ex Army Captain, James Blunt brought out his long awaited second album 'All the Lost Souls' in September 2007. This was the follow up to his hugely successful debut album 'Back to Bedlam' which came out in 2004. James Blunt was a refreshing change on the music scene and he was to music in 2004, what Damien Rice was in 2003. James Blunt has his own unique style of Folk/Rock. He is a balladeer and his songs deal with subjects such as: Heartbreak, infidelity, failed relationships and love.- James Blunts album 'All the Lost Souls' hit the shelves in 2007, two weeks after the record ... The many doubters out there who said James Blunt , song writer & musician is only a flash in the pan & that he couldn`t pull it off for a second time then all I can say to that is - You are wrong!. I'm not even going to try to convince you to like this artist, as all the irrational hatred towards this man is something that I don't quite understand. The sad thing is, that most of the negative criticism aimed at Blunt comes from individuals that haven`t even heard his music. When I say heard his music, is to have listened to his entire collection of songs and not just "You're Beautiful". So the guy is POSH & well spoken ..... So what! The Harrow ... JAMES BLUNT – WHAT A … NICE MAN! INTRO Like most people, I first heard of James Blunt back in 2005, when his single You’re Beautiful hit the number one spot in the UK music charts. I fell in love with the song, it was beautiful! I know many people became fed up of it, but not me, I still love it now. I bought his first album – Back to Bedlam – and thought it was excellent. Then it disappeared into the abyss of Teenage Daughter’s Bedroom! Realising I was missing it, I bought another copy of the album and – as usual – the original one turned up not long afterwards. So we have two in the house. I was thrilled when I heard he had ... Read the complete review
