A naff reworking of 'Take A Chance On Me' does little to excite me, especially as Erasure had already covered it several years before and done a better job. There is however quite a pleasing dance remake of 'Whole Again'. Natalie Browne turns in a surprisingly promising vocal which accelerates as the chorus gets underway. Such classy artwork on the sleeve! The Almighty series is back with this number one's compilation. I don't know why it is called that because there are no genuine number ones, just rehashes of number one singles. Hmm, I suppose we can forgive that for the moment. There are two discs here and fifteen songs on each disc. On both discs, the tracks are merged into continuous megamixes. We kick off with a remake of the Madonna song 'Like A Prayer.'
