As you have guessed by now for the members of the site - this is where my member picture is from. It is the heart grenade that features on the front of this magnificent CD. I think Green Day is now my favourite band as their music is great. Here is the factual information on the CD:

American idiot is a classic song, which is quite old now. It has a lot of acoustic in it and the topic is America. 'Don't wanna be an American idiot' is the first line of the chorus. They basically cuss America and make out that they haven't done any good.

Holiday is an excellent song, perhaps one of my favourite songs ever! It has a great tune and a much softer tone with not as much hard rock in the background. The song is just excellent and has a lot of energy in it, as it flows well and sounds great.

The Boulevard of Broken Dreams song is excellent too - another favourite of mine. I would recommend you listen to the Oasis vs. Green Day version, in which the two songs 'Wonderwall' by Oasis, and 'Boulevard of Broken Dreams' are mixed together to produce an excellent song with all the gaps filled in by Oasis. This is a great song and the lyrics really go well with the song. There are sways from the soft tone and the lovely voice of Bill Armstrong to the hard rock in the chorus.

Homecoming is a very long song at over 9 minutes long, however it features some great music that is very catchy and punk. In general, all their other songs a great, but not as catchy as the three mentioned above.

I would highly recommend this CD to anyone who likes rock music, as you are bound to like these songs. They are an excellent band with Billie doing the singing and the others providing the excellent music.
