At first i thought it wouldnt be the same greenday i thought they changed their style of music to something more less punk. but i was obviously wrong its took me until now to get this album and yes thats a long time 4 years but i was afraid of wasting my money on an album i wouldnt like. turns out ive only gone and spent my money on something amazing!
greenday have created an album that is unexplainable its amazing! it wonderful! the hit songs 'American Idiot' and 'Jesus of Surburbia' i liked from listening to on kerrang! but i didnt want to get the album just for two songs...

1.)American Idiot:this song is brilliant and the video is smashingly wonderfull they have the american flag in the background and near the end green paint comes out of it. AmAzing!!!

2.)Jesus of surburbia:another hit song. Actually this song is three in one its 9:01 long. again the video for this song is brilliant .you see into the life of an "emo" and see what type of life he leads.

3.)Holiday:this song is good but not the best but it is good.

4.)boulevard of broken dreams:this is actually the 2nd part of Holiday amazin song.


5.)Are we the waiting:this is a COOL song i didnt like it at first but when i listened to it the third time round i loved it.

6.)Saint Jimmy:this song has a good rhythm to nod along to i got my cousin into this song she now listens to it all the time.

7.)Give me novacaine: i actually dont like this song its just not greenday to me it just doesnt click with me i found this song very dragging and boring.

8.)She's A rebel: my mum says that they are singing about me in this song as i am a bit of a mischeif maker.this song is brilliant i played it like 10 times in a row i loved it and if your a greenday lover you wil LOVE this song it kind of takes me back to when they sang their old songs.

9.)Extraordinary Girl:the start of this song is boring its just tapping on an african drum but it gets better trust me this song is Ace!

10.)Letterbomb:i didnt really like this song much when i first heard it but after a few listens i was repeating it all the time it got on my friends nerves.

11.)Wake me up when september ends:this song you just have to love it the beat in it is superb my mate who is heavily in to mc and dance never listens to this type of music but i somehow got him into this band.

12.)Homecoming_the death of saint jimmy:i didnt really find this song addictive or excinting i actually found it really boring.

13.)whatsername:this is a good song it starts off with a good beat and it stays with a good beat all the way through.
