Disadvantages: not everyone's cup of tea

I love music and play quite a few instruments myself, it's a complete passion of mine. In my eyes words can't justify how tremendous theses guys really sound however I will attempt.

Some info on Il Divo

Il Divo are modern Opera geniuses, they are four guys from different parts of the world that sound fantastic and a big thanks to Simon Cowell for launching them.
The guys are David, Sebastien, Urs and Carlos:

David Miller: Born 14/04/1973 in San Diego California, his voice is a tenor and he graduated from Oberlin Conservatory in Ohio where he took a BA in vocal performance and a master's degree in Opera.

Sebastien Izambard: Born 07/03/1973 in Paris France, his voice is a vox populi. Sebastien can play piano and guitar like myself, he's a self taught singer and a songwriter.

Urs Toni bushler: Born 19/07/1971 in Switzerland, his voice is a tenor and he studied in a couple of places as well as having private tuition with Gosta Winbergh and Christian Papis.

Carlos Marin: Born 13/10/1968 in Germany but is originally Spanish, his voice is a baritone. Carlos had vocal master classes with Alfredo Kraus, Monserrat Caballe and Jaime Aragall.

The music

1. Hero - This is a version of Mariah Carey song but sung in Spanish, Il Divo have made this song sound just as good as Mariah's version. There's an orchestra of strings backing them and their captivating voices make you grasp onto every word they sing. This version is a very heartfelt, soothing and all-round wonderful attempt. 7/10

2. Isabel - Sung in Spanish and I haven't got a clue what they're singing but it sounds sad yet loving and just beautiful to listen too. Accompanied by the haunting sounds of the stings and my instrument the flute. This song makes me want to close my eyes and feel a sadness but not a depressing sadness. 9/10

3. I believe in you - This song is sung in English and French it also features Celine Dion, a medium slow tempo accompanied by an orchestra and five fantastic voices again this is a great song. 8/10

4. Unchained melody - Wow....I love the original version but this is also superb, this is a love song that captivates your heart no matter what language it in. This version has the backing of an orchestra...wonderful sting instruments and fabulous voices
of four very talented men who make me want to sing the song word for word and mean everything I say that comes out my mouth. 9/10

These songs are hard to comment on because I haven't a clue what there saying but I do know they sound astonishing, breath taking and filled with pure heartfelt emotions.

My Views - A definite must have, these guys make you fall in love with there voices……. pure vocal masterpieces that make you close your eyes and image falling in love. I will add these guys may seem cheesy to some and can be an aquired taste.

The packaging - Normal cd case with a picture of the four guys walking down a street at night.......they're quite good looking as well..........IL DIVO ANCORA is write on the front.
