Too Punk for you? (Animal Rights - Moby)
Member Name: dplevey
Advantages: Fast and Loud? Disadvantages: Fast and loud?
By 1996 Moby had become disenchanted with the current dance scene and returned to his 1980's punk rock influences, the resulting release was the extremely aggresive 'Animal Rights' Don't be fooled by the mellow opening track, the 2nd track 'Come on Baby' injected lots of heavy guitar work into the dance genre and from 'Someone to Love' onwards there ensues a punk rock onslaught - only in the final few tracks does he pause for a much earned breather! Special mention must go to 'That's when I reach for my revolver' which, for me anyway, was one of the tracks of the decade. Summary: |
