Am writing this as we look back and reflect on the summer gone by. Ahhh. :-) This year there does not have seemed to be one "song of the summer" in particular. Some argue that the closest there has been to such is Roger Sanchez - Another Chance, which has been extremely popular both in the charts and the dancefloors of the UK as well as The Party Capital of the World, Ibiza. The first time I heard this song I loved it. After purchasing the single as soon as it was released (about a month after I first heard it) I also found that the chillout mix included on the single was also very good. However, I do feel that such songs as this are overplayed ...

This year, there have been many excellent house tracks released, with Bel Amour - "Bel Amour", Dirty Vegas - "Days Go By" and The Goodfellas - "Soul Heaven" all emerging as some of the best tunes of the year so far. However, in my opinion, it is Roger Sanchez's "Another Chance" that will go down as the tune of 2001, as Stardust did in '98, Armand Van Helden in '99 and Delerium did last year.
