Anthem is the fifth studio album from the america ska punk band less than jake. I have always been a fan of this band just because of the energy they put into each of their songs, all their songs are great in their own way and there hasn't been an album from them that I have been disappointed in yet.

The first song gets the album off to a cracking start it at first seems like its actually going to be quite a slow song but you couldn't be more wrong as when it gets going its really fast. The song is pretty good but the only thing I don't like about it is how the chorus kicks in from the verse it just seems to jump and doesn't link and this is the same for the start and the end.

Look what happened is one of my favourite songs off this album and from them as a band, this one is of Chris singing and he sings it so well, the chorus is sung by Roger and its good to hear them both share the vocals as it just works so well as they each has great but unique voices that fit really well together.

Track number 11 is that's why they call it the union, some people may known this one from one of the Tony Hawks games it was on, and if a songs on a Tony Hawks game, you known its going to be good, and of course it is. Its just a perfect skate punk song, fast in paced but perfectly recorded as well, not too rushed just perfect.

Plastic cup politics is the track that follows it and this time its Roger who sings through out, its much more of a ska song than a lot of the others but this is something that less than jake just do so well. I also think that their ska songs suit Rogers voice better than Chris's who sounds better on the more punk songs.

I think my favourite song off the album for lyrics and singing must be the brightest buld has burned out/ screws fall out. Its just Chris singing with his guitar and his voice sounds incredible when singing this. it's a great song with great lyrics and then towards the end for the screws fall out part of the song the other instruments come in and it ends as a fantastic intense song.
