Alien Ant Farm: Anthology
A rock band that has just exploded onto the scene with probably their most rockin tune ‘Smooth Criminal’ yes it is taken from Michael Jackson. But they have added more bass in the right places and made it into a great song now.
Their new album is 13 tracks of rockin tunes. With smooth criminal at number 12 the listener has to rock to all the other tunes then they discover that a smooth criminal has hit them.
Most of the songs really do sound the same but in this case it is a good thing as it is great music. A minority of the songs begin slow and then build up to a great mass of twisted words mixed with a hell of a lot of bass but the rest, the majority, begin with a mass of twisted words with a hell of a lot of bass.
Not being a really f***ing HARD rock band you can still decipher the words of the rocking tunes which is to some peoples taste.

- 21/11/01 Hi, I bought this album a while back. I'm still in two minds about it. I like "Courage" and "Movies", but the rest of the album seems a little too scrappy, it doesn't flow well for me. Maybe with a few more plays I'll get into it.
As kalus_uk says you should try and add a bit more detail into your opinion such as an introduction to the band, maybe give details of individual tracks - what do they each sound like, what makes each song stand out etc.

I have album myself and know where ur coming from on your explenation. mabye you could have given a little information on the band though. how would you describe there music rock heacy metal nu metal punk (yes they have been described as all of these in differant interviews Ive heard from them but which would you say they where)??? |
