I bought this album about four years ago, it was recommended to me by a friend. I got it home thinking it was going to be your average
Hip Hop album, like Gangstarr or something.( I was only just getting into Hip Hop) When I first played it I relised how wrong I was, the first track is great, a real masterpiece to Start an album with, this (for me) is beacause of the bass, its fatter than Pavarotti.

MMM(aka Michael Schwartz) was a member of the Invisibl Skratch Piklz, who have won the world annual scratching competion three times. After this the Beastie Boys invited Mike on the 'Hello Nasty' tour, it was whilst doing this that Mike record 'Anti Theft Device' probably his most popular album.

Mike creates with samples from TV and movies, and slips them into each track with a few scratches, the tracks are mainly made up from a hell of alot of bass, samples and then scratches. Mike mixes different forms of music together to create tracks in the forms of Hip Hop, Jazz, Electronic and funk.
