It's a really cool track, well worth checking out if you've not yet heard it. Blink 182 may have split up in 2005, their music lives on however and always I feel that the sound this band created was greatly impressive. It was a fine decision to include this Blink 182 track on the 'Dragging The Lake III' compilation I feel; it most certainly adds to the overall excellence of ...more

Rating:

Atticus is a clothing label which was set up in 2001 by former Blink 182 members Mark Hoppus and Tom Delonge. In 2002 the clothing label began its foray into the music world with the compilation album 'Dragging The Lake'. A second compilation was released in 2003 and the third then emerged in 2005. No further compilations have been released since this, it is however an excellent compilation of music from the clothing label best known for its logo which depicts a bird on its back. Some great, bouncy cheesypopmetal It was produced by EMI, without the band's input

Few Great tracks A couple of slow ones

One track is excellent and a couple more are reasonably enjoyable. Poorly produced, too many things going on at once within the sound.

Strong melodies and guitars Vocals not to everyone's liking

An excellent change in sound for Sum 41, superb use of guitars. Fans of the bands Pop Punk sound may not appreciate this album quite so much.

Overpowered - Roisin Murphy
An absolutely astonishing and innovative pop record. If you choose to miss out on this, that is a major disadvantage.

Open Fire - Alabama Thunderpussy
Good incorporation of classic metal style, with great guitars and improved vocals. Too content to be nothing new.

Once Upon A Time In America - Soundtrack
A masterpiece... ...though the period pieces are a bit disruptive in the middle.

Once Upon A Time In The West - Soundtrack
A landmark Morricone score, an utter pleasure from beginning to end, a masterpiece It's an old score, so it may not have the best sound quality on the planet

Of Lucifer & Lightning - Angelcorpse
Solid death metal. Uninspired.

Of The Son And The Father - Astral Doors
Keeping classic metal alive, with a variety of song styles. Can't escape seeming like a second-rate copy.

Olias Of Sunhillow - Jon Anderson
Great new age keyboards and pleasant vocals. Quite dull on the longer offerings.

Obscuritatem Advoco Amplectere Me - Abruptum
You may get an unreasonable sense of the connoisseur from owning something so obscure. The album.
