Every once in a while I like to test myself with a musical genre I know absolutely nothing about, and usually hate, but the 2001 debut from Aurora was surprisingly inoffensive to my ears, even if I have trouble admitting it. Essentially an English attempt to replicate the sound of American female artists that seemed to be incredibly popular in the late nineties (this isn't my field, alright? My facts will be vague and clearly mostly wrong assumptions based on what I can remember being on TV in 1998, but I'm trying my best), these songs are incredibly generic and lack any kind of surprise whatsoever, but succeed in providing some worthy, home-grown ...
