Advantages: Very sticky and fun.

Disadvantages: Her vocals aren't exceptional...

When you hear about Ashlee, you may not be very insterested because you'll probably think she's identical to her sister. She's not. She has a more fun and younger style that will catch you on the very first chorus of the album, and will keep you there throughout the whole. Here's a song by song review:

1.-Autobiography: This is the first song in the album, and also names this one. It starts very quiet, but then it explodes on the fun chorus: "got stains on my T-shirt/ and I'm the biggest flirt"... It's very fun and happy, it'll make you jump all over your room and yell the lyrics. Great song. Score:5/5.

2.-Pieces Of Me: This song is a bit quieter, but still sing-along and fun. It describes how good it feels to be understood by your loved one. However, at some point it gets stale. Score: 4/5.

3.-Shadow: This is kind of the actual autobiography (a bit changed from Ashlee's actual life, but well...), because it starts saying: "I was six years old/ when my parents went away"...It's a very quiet, beautiful and soulful song, with very easy to learn words. Score:4.7/5.

4.-La La: For this song, let's start by defining the meaning of "la la": Ashlee herself describes it as "whatever you want, happiness, excitement" or something like that. With that said, we can assume that the song describes how it is to be la la "in the kitchen, on the floor" etc. Very good and rocky song, just to play around and singing like crazy. Score:4.7/5.

5.- Love Makes The World Go Round: This one sounds a lot like "Pieces Of Me", and it is just as good. It is also very sing along and happy. Score: 4/5.

6.-Better Off: This is the first song of the album with almost senseless lyrics, as it talks about spilling coffee or something like that. However, the chorus is pretty good. Anyway, this is just not the best song. Score: 3/5.

7.-Love Me For Me: This one song is very agrressive and features the already over exploited "be yourself" theme, as Ashlee tells to some boy to love her as she is, because she won't change. Boring and repretitive.Score: 3/5.

8.-Surrender: This an electro-influenced rock song, which shows off Ashlee's voice, and has very up-lifty lyrics, specially on the chorus. One of my favorites. Score: 5/5.

9.-Unreachable: This is kind of a depressing song, I don't really like it. However, it's worth a listen, just to hear Ashlee singing one of the few ballads she has. Score: 3.4/5.

10.-Nothing New: This one's very fun to sing along to, and easy to learn. It talks about some feud she and a boy have, and it is so old and stupid that she makes fun of it. Good song. Score: 4/5.

11.-Giving It All Away: This is maybe the song with the most beautiful and deep lytics in the album, BUT it is also the most boring and depressing in the whole. This one is not worth to listen. Score:0.8/5.

12.-Undiscovered: This is the lowest-tempo song in the album, and it is a fun, shallowing, deep and beautiful ballad. It has some very emotional parts to the end, and it's very sing along. You can really apreciate Ashlee's voice here.. Score: 4.7/5.

13.-(Bonus Track) Harder Everyday: Although this song gets to be boring and repetitive, it has a very strong chorus. It's a good closing to the album. Score: 3.6/5.

Overall, this is a very fun and sing along album, designed for Ashlee and a teenage audience. Great job, Ashlee!!!

Summary: Some bad tracks, but awesome in the whole. Great start, Ashlee!!!
