Paréj's voice really carries this song and is nice even though I don't normally opt for this kind of soft female singing (screaming blokes is what I like), and the Hungarian lyrics make for a nice exotic flavour; you could even pretend that this is some sort of authentic elf language if that helps enhance the atmosphere. Alhana is a sort of sometime collaboration of musicians from Budapest who used to play together in Tűzmadár, though the band has remained silent since their only full-length release 'Tündértánc' in 2005. 'Az Utolsó Bárd' is a single/short E.P. of the eponymous song from that album, containing an additional brand new song in a similar style, and re-workings of two songs from the band's first demo. Great songs None really

Something for Steve Vai completists. Pointlessly below average hair metal.

Classic heavy metal. Endless, tedious comparisons to other bands are inevitable.

Creative and distinctive fusion of metal and symphony. Acted interludes are unnecessary and distracting.

An excellent rock album, fantastic from start to finish. Some may be put off by the musical change in direction that Avenged Sevenfold took here.
