Britney was 17 when this song was released. She looked pretty and fresh. The main song in the film could be called her signature song, she will always be known for this song. Everything is perfect here, beats, vocals and the dress.
All the songs are good time songs. In each one you have a teenager singing like she is in love with a man. She sings her heart out.
I think the album was aimed at people below 21 mostly. Older age groups probably also liked it. I bet it was theme tune in most schools at the turn of the century.
