Advantages: FASTER SONGS
Disadvantages: TOO MANY COVER VERSIONS
BACK AGAIN NO MATTER WHAT is an album by Irish pop group BOYZONE.
The album contains 18 tracks.
The opening track NO MATTER WHAT is a cover and is quite good with powerful vocals and a soothing melody.
BABY CAN I HOLD YOU is another mellow single with a fine chorus and strong vocals.
LOVE YOU ANYWAY contains corny lyrics and lacks any emotion which the song should have.
WORDS is another cover that is nowhere near as good as the original and lacks the emotion associated with the lyrics.
LOVE ME FOR A REASON is a cover and the group's first big hit. A little too manufactured for my liking.
A DIFFERENT BEAT and ALL THAT I NEED were two tracks that I was unfamiliar with and were okay.
BETTER is a tune that actually gets better after each time you hear it.
YOU NEEDED ME starts of slowly, but builds to a great chorus with real energy.
FATHER AND SON reverts bck to been cheesy especially i the lyrics with the vocals not adding anything.
CAN'T STOP THINKING ABOUT YOU and I LOVE THE WAY YOU LOVE ME are nothing but album filler.
COMING HOME NOW is a soothing song with gentle melodies and smooth vocals.
ISN'T IT A WONDER is a faster paced song which is sung with great bravado.
WHEN THE GOING GETS TOUGH is my favourite song on the album as it's only one of few you can dance to with it's fast paced beat and catchy tune.
PICTURE OF YOU is also very catchy with a wonderful sing along chorus that might get you dancing.
EVERY DAY I LOVE YOU is sung with genuine passion aided by good instrumental support.
The last track on the album is LOVE IS A ROLLERCOASTER which is sung by Ronan Keating and is a fun song.
Overall, this is a solid album. There are too many covers on it though none are horrendous versions of the originals. Keating's vocals are strong while the other members are slightly lacking in that department. There were alot of slow songs and would have preferred a fw more dance songs.
Avaliable from AMAZON at £4.98 this is a decent album.
Summary: BOYZONE JUST IN ZONE
