I first heard of Amy Winehouse when I was listening to the radio, the good old radio, one of the best things since sliced bread . Amy is typically pictured as a young woman with lots of ugly tattoos and an incredible hairstyle generally with a cigarette in her mouth or more recently coke sliding out her nose. There is a debate going on right now, weather she is 'healthy' for the younger generation of today, Again a lot of people also think how can she pull of being one of the most successful female singers and be a typical 'druggie'.

I first heard her famous song "Rehab" come on the radio, I was instantly gripped, EVERYONE was singing it. So I decided to buy her the album. I bought the CD at a low price of £9.99 from ASDA.
I started to listen, And how iconic "Rehab" was the first song...

Again the last song, how ironic, Don't you think?

My absolute favorite song has to be, Back to black! I have played this song like 1000 times in the first week of buying Amy's CD. I love the fact all her songs are really jazzy, yet very popular with the younger generation, Amy has a very beautiful, powerful voice. Some see the song 'Rehab' very ironic as Amy herself went to rehab yet her lyrics say "No No No" to rehab, I think that it is bad she has contradicted her self yet I am happy she finally said ' Yes Yes Yes' to rehab. I adored her attitude towards the papers who constantly 'slag her off' for being a lost cause and a druggie, just the fact she soldiers on is a good sign she is getting better. Her first and last song seems to be telling a story and her point of view too.

Summary: great to listen to
