Wings Greatest - Paul McCartney
by FlickeringEmber - written on 10/08/08 (Very useful, 120 readings)
Rating:
Just as a general pointer, Wings albums are counted as anything after Ram and McCartney (so 1972-1980) and anything up to the Japan tour. I felt it appropriate to clarify this as Paul McCartney has, after this time, released solo albums as just Paul McCartney, although these are not relevant to reviewing Wings Greatest. I do like all the tracks on this album and it s good for the very casual listener who likes all the hits and does not want to commit to buying more albums but it s not, in my opinion, Wings Greatest songs. Products similar to Back To The Egg - Paul Mccartn...
Yours Truly, Angry Mob - Kaiser Chiefs
A couple of half decent offerings.
The album as a whole is distinctly average.
Rock A Little - Stevie Nicks
The turning point into the 1980's; electronics meets country rock singer from Fleetwood Mac
A few mixed songs of poor dated sounds, silly prices beyond £10.
Masterpiece - Nathan
R&B & Soul - Soul - 2008
Let It Go - Tim McGraw
It's a Tim McGraw CD
It's classified as 'country' music
Introducing Joss Stone - Joss Stone
Some decent moments
Doesn't balance out the negative things she's done
Enemy At The Gates - James Horner - Soundtrack
A hugely melodramatic war score of great power
But like with Horner often in the early 2000 period, not particularly original
Bigger, Better Power Ballads Ii
All the classics on one album
Some tracks are not really classed as 'power ballads
Almost Here - Academy Is
good music, not a bad song on this album
How To Save A Life - The Fray
how to save a life
the rest
Myths Of The Near Future - Klaxons
original, great lyrics, not one track sounds like the other
