Back To The Movies - Hits From The Flix
Advantages: great songs, and easy listening
Disadvantages: Some songs are not to everyones taste
A couple of years ago my passion for dance music went out the window, when i became a parent, gone where my days of all night partying and getting drunk, so when i listen to dance music now i feel kind of sad, yet relieved that all my wild days are in the past.
I have always liked any type of music, and could tap my feet to almost anything, mow town, power Ballards, soul, rap- you name it i like it, but i do have a slightly stronger passion for songs out of movies, and their soundtracks.
So when i received 'Back to the movies' CD, as a present from mum a couple of years i was really made up. scanning quickly through the songs, my face beamed as nearly every song on there i loved, although i have to admit there where one or two that i hadn't even heard of- but you can give me a little credit as im only young!
Back at home on on Christmas evening i put on the CD as i'd been itching to do it all day, the first track that came on was Joe cocker and Jennifer Warnes- Up where we belong- what a song!! This is one of my mum and dad's favorite's and it had grown on me over the years, as i remember hearing it in the film 'An officer and a gentleman'.

I love all the songs on this CD, but i think my favorite has to be Maria Mckee-Show me heaven out of days of thunder, which is one of my all time best films.
I sometimes think that who ever made the CD and thought out the track listings, must have made it for me, as all the songs have specific meanings to me.
I'm ashamed to admit that after receiving this around two years both CD's still take pride of place in my 5 disk CD player, and every so often if im feeling down i always stick the CD on to cheer me up, and it always works 9 times out of ten.
Although the CD was brought out nearly four years ago in 2004 the songs featured on it, will never grow old.
Summary: One of the best mixed cd's ive come across
