Taking the arbitrary name Batmobile, this group of Dutch musicians have gradually evolved from a traditional rockabilly outfit based firmly in the past to a psychobilly band incorporating further elements of psychedelia and influence from B-movies, also of the past, but in a slightly different way. However you look at it, they aren't a band concerned with keeping up with modern trends. 'Bambooland' was their full-length release after a self-titled E.P. and it displays very few creative tendencies, but is at least competent rockabilly performed in the same style as countless other bands that should please you if you're into that sort of thing, which I'm not ...  Read the complete review
