Bang is the self-titled debut album of the hard rock band Bang who take a lot of inspiration from Sabbath but still both the music and vocals retain their own sound. Released in 1971, this classic album with a legendary cover is most definitely worth adding to your collection if you are a hard rock fan.

With hard riffs followed up by pockets of melody you have quite a soothing album yet with a sense of urgency and vitality about it. Themes.

Unlike their inspiration, Bang tend to leave dark lyrics at home as they blast out jovial tracks like "Our Home" and the almost Beatlesque "Questions" with the effective yet bizarre lyrics "Have you ever read a book or have books been reading you?" "Have you sung a song or two or have songs been singing you?", other classic tracks form the album include Christians, Lions and The Queen.

This album is a hidden gem which is not that easily available today but is most definitely worth seeking out!
