Matrix - Soundtrack

Rating:
So what's so good about The Matrix soundtrack? This is actually the only soundtrack I have ever owned. I ran out to buy it after seeing the movie, despite only recognising the Propellerheads track (from the lobby scene). This sound track is filled with many songs that are techno and/or rocked based, the songs fit perfectly for The Matrix, as techno is regarded as "futuristic" sounding. I enjoy a good beat that I can chill to and I find that very easy to do with this album. There are no slow songs on here. Also, if I am ever not in the mood to work, I pop in this CD and set it on some of the Techno tracks and go to the beat. It's mostly fast ...

Dawson's Creek 2 - Soundtrack
Better than the show itself ! (103 words)by - written on 24/01/01
Rating:
I know an album is in a different league to a TV program, but I would rather listen to this CD that watch the show anyday. What is it with these American teeny shows, they always have great soudtracks, and stage for new and fresh talent and this disc is no exeption. Containing some classic tracks by bands that, though popular in the US, ...

Dawson's Creek 2 - Soundtrack
by mccannalex - written on 17/02/01 (Useful, 185 readings)
Rating:
I haven't got a clue about Dawson's Creek, I've never watched the programme in my life and am unlikely ever too. From what I can ascertain from the kids on the street its a modern day version of Heartbreak High or Beverley Hills 90210, if that's wrong please forgive me. What we get though is 13 songs from the series and the lovely chaps at Columbia have chosen another 6 bonus tracks for our listening pleasure. It gets off to an impressive sugar coated start with Jessica Simpson. The teenage lolita groans her way through the Mariah Carey lite of "I Think I'm Love With You", its the classic single that we heard earlier in the year and 6 months on it ...

Products similar to Basketball - Soundtrack
Iron - Ensiferum
More energetic.
Still not enormously varied.
Crimson - Edge Of Sanity
Bold and varied death metal epic.
Too sprawling and changeable.
Nothing But Death Remains - Edge Of Sanity
Great example of the early Swedish death metal sound.
Few original ideas, and lacking individuality.
The Spectral Sorrows - Edge Of Sanity
Talented death metal with a nice melodic angle.
Concessions towards accessibility are mostly disappointing.
Dragonheads - Ensiferum
Nice side helping for folk metal fans.
Doesn't offer much original material.
Below The Lights - Enslaved
Band still continues to evolve.
Cluttered and chaotic, loses the folk elements.
Unorthodox - Edge Of Sanity
Experimental death metal, foreshadowing major sub-genres.
Overlong.
Purgatory Afterglow - Edge Of Sanity
Approachable death metal.
Too many weak songs and failed attempts to combine genres.
Quimbombó
One or two good tracks
Voice is not strong
Ilgi - Kaza Kepa Debesis
Quite good vocals
Too slow
