Nattfodd - Finntroll
More approachable and consistent. A little less extreme.

Ur Jordens Djup - Finntroll
Heavier, fiercer. Less creative and distinctive.

Visor Om Slutet - Finntroll
Successful experiment away from metal. May deter metal fans.

Razorbliss - Flowing Tears
More dynamic musical performance. Too slow.

Turis Fratyr - Equilibrium
More great folk metal. Sounds a lot like other bands.

A Virgin And A Whore - Eternal Tears Of Sorrow
Varied and distinctive melodic death metal. Keyboards get a little irritating, and guitar riffs are mostly just for the sake of rhythm.

Solitude Dominance Tragedy - Evergrey
Great atmosphere, and prog that doesn't show off (apart from the vocals). Gets a little samey.

Bonded By Blood - Exodus
Strong, archetypical thrash metal. Repetitive and dated.

En Their Medh Riki Fara - Falkenbach
Apocalyptic Viking metal, with that appealing home-grown atmosphere. Black metal elements are fairly standard.
