There comes a time in every bands life when renewal and change is the only option to move forward. Despite both the excellence and success of Garbage’s second release, ‘Version 2.0’ the nagging feeling that it xeroxed the sound of their debut a little too closely was always present. I've loved Garbage since I first heard and saw the video for Special... though beautifulgarbage is the only Garbage album I currently own. Stupid Wal-Mart for not having it. (I must make noble quest to... MALL LAND to make up for this. And get Version 2.0) ...Ahem. Anyway, this is the album that irked a lot of fans. It seems they weren't happy with Garbage trying something new. (God forbid. How dare a band experiment with different styles. Damn them all to hell.) Garbage return after years (well it felt like years) of absence since the single “The World Is Not Enough” and the 1998 album “Version 2.0”.
