There is nothing inherently wrong with this, as Nick Bracegirdle, the man behind Chicane's delicious sounds, knows how to mix the right combination of ambient beats and melodic trance that captures his audiences' imaginations. What a thrill I finally received when I bought the album to find that not only had Bracegirdle created these well-constructed dance orchestrations, but managed to mix in some beautifully light trance that will transport you over the ocean and onto and island where it's blissfully quiet and the air is fresh. In December 1996 it reached No.14 in the official UK charts, and No.1 in the MTV Dance Charts.Chicane were also extremely popular in the ...
