For anyone who doesnt know, Liberty X are basically the LOSERS in a television talent show.... however they have gone on to be one of the most popular British pop groups of late and have enjoyed hit after hit and still remain, even after they sucessors have long since dispanded.

Their first album was a jaunty dancey affair with the odd ballad thrown is almost as a compulsory measure... but this album is completely the other way around. There are three of four danceable tunes here, with the rest being pretty much ballads really - dont get me wrong, its still a good collection of songs, but it's not really the kind of thing you expect when you think of Liberty X and I think that they may have alienated a large portion of their fanbase by moving on to ballads with sophisticated production - I know that a band cant rest on its laurels for too long and keep churning out what is essentially the same track rehashed every time, but its such a big departure from their first album.

Having just pretty much sat there and moaned about the number of ballads on this CD, I have to confess, "Everybody Cries" - A BALLAD - is my favourite track on the album and its well worth a listen.

Not really sure whether or not I should recommend this CD.... but Ive decided I WILL purely based on the the fact that its full of good songs, regardless of whether or not its what you would expect from Liberty X,
