Advantages: Great fun to listen to

Now that summer is upon us...and on this glorious day I feel justified in listening to and writing a review on the beach boys :). The beach boys certianly do give you that summer feeling and many people enjoy singing along to classics such as fun fun fun or I get around.

The beach boys are a great deal more than just a bit of fun however. Brain Wilson is simply a genius, and highly regarded in this manner by many in the music industry including Beatles producer George Martin. The harmonies and melodies are very clever indeed showing Brian Wilson's great creativity. This excellent compilation includes so many of their greatest track and can be enjoyed a great deal by fans of the band or simply by music fans who needs a few of their most famous songs on one CD. There are some very good late Beach Boys tracks missing from this album, and so if you are discovering their music in detail for the first time, delving more into some of their later albums would be recommended.

This stands however as a really good collection of some of their biggest and most endearing hits!
