Hysteria - Def Leppard
by guitarman23 - written on 29/03/07 (Somewhat useful, 82 readings)
Rating:
The production on this album is excellent. The drums have been double tracked so many times its uunbelievable and the guitars really do sheen. Some rock fans say this album has been over produced, and thats why they dont like it. but it seems to work for me. The music is pretty similar to tesla and many other Amercan hair bands. This ...
Vault - Def Leppard

Track16 Bringing on the heartache Sadly poignant for the last song on a wonderful romp through the best bits in Def Leppards repertoire. This song is sad; it?s depressing and emotional. It screams and screeches along, grating along your nerve endings making you feel hurt and upset and down right fed up. Saying all that though I think this is a brilliant track because it evokes emotion and makes you want to listen to this album over again as you don?t want to end on a sad note! This album was different. This album had managed to worry me before it had even been released! The first cause of concern was that Joe Elliott's hair now looks like one of the Gallagher brothers from Oasis, only blonde. So I worried they were going indie. My second worry was that ...

I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love - My Chemical Romance
Less pop oriented, varied songs, interesting music and lyrics. good production.
Some will find it a bit too emo. Only a few brilliant songs
The Wombats Proudly Present... A Guide To Love, Loss And Desperation - Wombats
Brilliant Debut album
Has a few songs that let the album down
The Final Experiment - Ayreon
Ambitious and enthusiastic rock opera for sci-fi/fantasy fans.
Confusing moral message, some really bad lyrics and some boring songs.
Suffer - Bad Religion
great songs, bad religion at their best
some of the guitar needs sorting out
No Control - Bad Religion
some amazing songs
none
Minutes To Midnight - Linkin Park
Some catchy songs
Not enough fast-paced rock
How Could Hell Be Any Worse - Bad Religion
Classic Californian punk, with a nicely raw sound.
Few songs distinguish themselves.
Actual Fantasy - Ayreon
Approachable Ayreon without the flamboyance.
Less distinctive and exciting as a result.
01011001 - Ayreon
Interesting concept and some enjoyable prog metal for Ayreon fans.
Feels like a derivative step backwards, and constrained by concept.
